This is from a famous photo taken at Caen on July 10 1944. The three men in the picture (L to R) are Bernard Hoo, John McCouville, and JR Kostick of the Queen’s Own Rifles. Bernard Hoo was my husband’s grandfather, who passed away in 2013. He was just 21 in this photo. Prints of this drawing will be given to each of his eight children: George, Rita, Larry, Jim, Mike, Mary, Roseanne, and Teri
